How this bank is weighted
The FAA re-weighted the UAG test on 29 September 2025 after an industry job-task analysis, and declared the percentages printed in FAA-S-ACS-10B obsolete. Regulations is now nearly half the exam; weather and loading together are under a tenth. These questions follow the current blueprint, not the retired one.
- Area I Regulations48%
- Area II Airspace & Operating Requirements20%
- Area III Weather5%
- Area IV Loading & Performance2%
- Area V Operations25%
One change worth knowing about
From 27 October 2026 the FAA stops issuing printed testing supplements. Figures are embedded directly in the questions, and the specific images used on live tests are not published in advance. Practising against these figures still teaches the skill that transfers — reading a sectional — but do not rely on memorising which figure number shows what.
